yeah, but prodigy was still putting out quality projects solo. especially when doing exclusive joints with the alchemist.

also his last project, the hegelian dialect was really dope.

havoc also put out a very good solo project with the alchemist himself.

but yeah, the mobb deep content as a group fell off a long time ago. high hopes for this album tho.

I'm specifically talking about that album in terms of the fall off.

They still put dope music throughout their career. The two Prodigy/Alc collabs were amazing, "Product of the 80s" too "13" and "Silent Partner" from Hav were both great.

As a group there is heaps of dope mixtape work during the G Unit era, and their final "Infamous Mobb Deep" album and "Black Cocaine" EP were great as well.

the g unit album in an alternate universe coulda been a classic...lead single was fire to me
it's honestly not that bad now. I listened this week and all this Havoc produced tracks aren't bad at all, and the Exile track is excellent. The ALC track is good. They had some misses that were the commercial appeal attempts, and they had maybe excessive G-Unit features, but after a lot of years it's honestly not as bad as everyone made it seem.
