Yes? The fukk doers Freddie have to do with this thread, let that shyt go already lmao
Yep. @L $ C we still wanna hear Freddie. I Saw him and Alc perform last night. He’s a true emcee’s emcee, despite him being a degenerate lol. He was the drunkest I’ve ever seen a performer but still rapped that rapid fire flow for 90 mins straight without a hype man and he didn’t miss a god damn word.
:wow: elite rap shyt

One of the most impressive shows I’ve seen. They played 90% of all the songs on Alfredo 1 and 2 plus some of his tracks with Madlib.

Yup I've been to two Freddie shows and he was on-point both times. Funny as fukk too :mjlol:

This album has made me realize that I miss hooks in the current landscape of street raps. Mobb has always had really catchy hooks, and even some of the simple little hooks on here go a long ways.

80% of the street rap lane these days is hookless. And I’d rather hear no hook than a bad hook, but some of these guys could put a little more effort in
I’ve been saying that as well. Jorja Smith and Her on those songs with a dope beats and fly raps just work. We don’t get too many of those these days.

Pour the Henny is like… perfect, wow. Nas found the fountain of youth with that verse/flow. This damn album man…

And somehow they one up that track with Clear Black Nights. The beat evolution as it gets into the Wu verses :ohlawd:. Ghost and Rae spitting A+ fountain of youth verses too.

And whatever track Hav and P were going back and forth on in the second verse. WTF is this album man. How are we this blessed in 2025 :blessed:

Maybe it’s my New York bias but this is better to me than the clipse album. this doesnt have a lost tapes or lost verses feeling at all. This is a true ass album….
I rank this and Alfredo II over that Clipse album.

I love that shyt but there's 2 or 3 joints in there that I skip nowadays, and Pharrell has a few really weak hooks as well.

Even though he was a member of the group, what 9th did for Little Brother could be argued as a catalyst for the “one producer per album” discussion
