The other dude was a hustler and had an Asian business partner. Nigerian was in over his head at that point. Any SBA or free business admin would have told Nigerian this at the beginning but what was problematic is what @Geoffrey_Chaucer said, many of us wanted in and even offered money for equity but Nigerian was combative af about that.

I was willing to give 5k, get distribution and lock up a region for a % of equity but he wanted my money with no equity and that was never gonna happen in a million years. This was way before he was getting national press. Before Mollywater copywrited the idea and name. I would have did that first as I have did with other companies.
