I remember this Finals game 1 was so highly anticipated because both teams were destroying everybody and the game was pretty close (one point game).

This shyt blew everything wide open. It's not even just KD's move that dropped Lebron, but that Curry bounce pass that zipped by Lebron's head and landed right next to dude's feet and stunned the entire defense.

Folks really understood how easy it was for the Warriors from that point on. Right after that play they stacked the lead and set the tone to the state of basketball right now.

When you write the book, I want an autographed copy. :wow:

Not really ... Pistons ended Showtime in the 89 Finals.

Blazers were supposed to go back to the finals in 91. Magic getting the LWO to the 91 finals was a huge upset.

The Lakers still made it back to the finals two years later though. Magic's HIV announcement also played a part of ending the Showtime era. I can see the point in someone saying the Pistons ended the Bird era of the Celtics.
