She's blackballed for the same reason everyone tried to Blackball ye, she wasn't going to roll over and Play fetch like a Dog. Nothing wrong with her keeping her integrity
That's all good & well but don't complain about it when you get blackballed. Everybody knows how Hollywood works, you cross the wrong person/people you'll never be seen again.

She didnt stab anyone in the eyeballs; she simply made a personal decision that was in her best financial interest at the time. I can understand how that set of decisions, five years ago, would have rubbed power brokers the wrong way, but a standing blackball because of it? Thats fukkin sorry.

Okay...so if you're a producer or director and you're debating on choosing her for a role --- why not ask her if she is willing to promote the movie w/o financial compensation? If she says no, then tell her you're moving on with your selection. She'll get the point eventually. But to continue to hold an unpopular but very reasonable decision against the woman after all these years, and never give her a chance, strikes as beyond petty and is no doubt just an excuse to exclude a talented woman of color.

I dont know why people around here (Im not addressing you here) would support this action being used against a black person, but then again I shouldnt be surprised by any anti-black woman sentiment around here and the coli's lust to express their hatred against said category again and again.

This isn't how Hollyweird works. They sign you up without talking details after the project is filmed. They figure you give some non A lister a few million dollars they will do what you tell them before, during and after filming. But when you have Mo'Niques and Kevin Harts demanding budget money to promote that rubs the hollywood brass the wrong way and don't forget these execs in Hollywood ARE MAD PETTY.

These are the same guys who got shoved in lockers and shytted on by girls in high school. There money and power are the only reason they get respect and p*ssy (Or boy p*ssy depending on what they like). This doesn't surprise me.

Good points, hell I agree with most of it, all I'm saying is if you KNOW that's how these (I'm assuming) rich Jewish cats play why be surprised/get upset when they do things like this? I mean, i feel like if you wanna get ahead or stack your paper in THAT shady industry you kinda gotta play by their rules until you get enough money and power to do your own thing.

Like we know Hollywood and the music industry are shady. We know Diddy and Birdman gon try to, and usually succeed in, take advantage of you. Mo'nique is not the first, nor will be the last, person to be played like that.
