For the most part this is true many African-American workers are unskilled but even with more African-Americans being unskilled most of them do not compete for the jobs that immigrants take because they have higher demands than immigrants to work those jobs. Also there's the stigma of certain jobs that African-Americans try to avoid that immigrants embrace. Social-economic and cultural impacts plays a huge part in employment decisions with African-Americans.

This is incorrect. There are anecdotes and studies which imply that there is competition between native workers and immigrants. Black Americans compete for the same jobs Mexicans do.

There's also several studies provided that say more about what impact immigrants have on black native unskilled workers. How many blacks apply for a job at fast food restaurants compared to Mexicans? How many blacks apply for landscaping jobs compared to Mexicans? Janitorial work? Home repair? etc.? Give me numbers.

No what i meant was they all have their own one bedroom apartments in the exact same conplex. And they all pool together in one car. Only one of them has a license. Most of them have only been in the U.S less than 4 years, and are situating themselves slowly.

Yeah, the solution is to close the fukking borders because American jobs are going to foreigners. If the STEM jobs can't get people, they'll raise their wages and get people. America will only go into a downward spiral if it keeps giving people's jobs to foreigners.

Close the borders and those jobs for STEM will just end up leaving the country. STEM jobs pay well yet few non-immigrants or 1st generation Americans fulfill those roles. We give jobs to foreigners because they have the skills to fill them. Heck you have been here a few generations, there shouldn't be an excuse to passed over by some guy that doesn't have a network. All these jobs foreigner have, Americans just don't want to do them or have the capacity to do them.

Cause and effect homie. NATFA created the native poor skilled workers to be displaced by pushing the majority of jobs outside the country and pushing the influx of cheap labor to the states to overrun the jobs here.

Agreed. In my field of study, most of the students were immigrants or children of immigrants.
