Since when are we determining things by population now? The majority of the landmass is Asian, that is what matters geographically.

It varies from one country to the next in Europe. I haven't lived there, but I've traveled there several times, maybe 7-8 in total plus studied abroad (Oxford) and things were pretty cool. I'd say it's more xenophobic than anything which can sometimes come off as racist depending on the country. That being said, Black Americans are treated pretty like much any other American from what I've seen. But if you're from a place like Mogadishu, the French would probably greet you with a

One of the key advantages in the US though is that blacks and/or minorities have far more opportunities to be upwardly mobile here than probably in most of Europe. But in Europe I don't think there is nearly as much culturally embedded racism as you have in the US. In otherwords, I don't think I ever got the feeling that anyone thought I was less capable of doing something simply because I was black.
Oh...I've heard Russia can be racist as well...but I didn't experience any problems while I traveled there. People were more curious than anything. It does and can get very awkward in cities where there are virtually no black people. You'll become quite the novelty to say the least. But uh...yeah if you're a good looking black dude, the Russian women will love ya.

From my experience, even though this country isn't Europe...Israel is probably the most openly and blantantly institutionally racist country I've been to. I've been stopped, had my passport randomly checked in the streets and detained more times than I care to remember simply because I was perceived on sight as being an African muslim even though I'm an American Christian with a muslim first name.

We are just having a geographical discussion dude. Look, I'm beginning to lose interest in what is a pretty unimportant discussion, but I'm happy to agree that part of Russia is part of the European continent, and a larger part of Russia is part of the Asian continent if that is where we are going.
...however, saying Russia is a 'European nation' is saying something beyond geography, and is definitely something I wouldn't agree it. The idea of a 'European nation' existing in the first place is kinda of retarded.
