Like how old are some of you brehs. My step brother his momma was crazy as fukk so he moved out at 18 and went to join the military.

But how the fukk you move out at 16? Did you complete college ever or eventually enlist? I mean not even my pops was trying to do something like that back in the 80's.

I think my pops moved out around 18 or 19. One of his younger brother's (deceased) moved out at 17 but that nikka had such a gift of gab he was able to charm the shyt out of White people to pay him bank. Unfortunately he died in an accident otherwise I'm pretty sure he would have been a millionaire by now. When you talk about dudes that have the gift of gab and look that shyt up in the webster's dictionary his face shows up. :lolbron:
Never got along with my mother growing up, we have two different views on life.

So I ran away at a young age thinking I was grown, ended up in jail and in a group home shortly after. Then i ran away from the group home when I was 17.

I went to college and actually had a full ride, but fukked that up lol. Ended up finishing, tho it took 6 years. I actually do really well financially. I'm 29 now

Iv made good money since I was 16, worked at a county club make 60-120+ a day, and i had another hustle that Made me a lot of money for someone my age.

Can his girl walk around the house naked :lupe:

Cause if so :banderas:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
You're right. I'm in a whole but in terms of career advice you haven't given any suggestions, just seems like you are just taking shots at me. You are in a better situation than me, props to you for that.
my bad breh... i didn't mean to take shots... but it seems like you already know what your problems are, and you are doing nothing to help yourself

i've been fukked up... broke... living at home.. moved out.. roommate flaked... moved back... lost jobs.. moved out again.. house burned down... moved back... moved out... etc etc etc etc

what i'm hearing from your story... or not hearing... is a burning desire to help yourself and your mother out of the situation...

you under 35? join the military... free job, free education, free room and board, plus a check, plus fitness, plus a great stamp on your resume, plus some sense of pride

don't want to do that.... DO ANYTHING... i mean anything fam.. beat the streets and get out there and do any fukking job you can find... local gas station, walmart, restaurant, ANYTHING... don't let your pride get in the way

will this get you a nice apt? no... but it will get you a check... a check that you can help your mom out with.. give her a 100 dollars would be better than nothing... put the rest in savings... you have no bills.. this is the ultimate time to save up money

also while you have this little job and you're saving, nothing is stopping you from looking for better jobs at the same time. took me 8 months of searching to find my job.. and when i got it, i busted my ass, so when they was talking transfer, i was one of 4 who was kept... cause i was a great worker

don't let your pride get in your way... "oh i'm not working at mcdonalds" well don't work there if it's not going to make ends meet... but it's perfectly fine if you have no bills, you saving all your checks, and you helping mom out with some groceries, while you still learning a new skill/applying for jobs at the same damn time

just don't be complacent.. if you aren't getting a job applying to 2 jobs a week, then apply to 10... and call them the week after applying to make sure they got your resume and give it a look

be proactive.. so many people get comfortable just knowing they got a roof and no bills and food and they are taken care of... they never stop to think of who is doing the work for that to be possible

again... my bad if i took shots

My kids are welcome to stay at home as long as they need to. They have their own separate floor. The older one moved out with her fiancee. The younger one will stay and save so she can move out straight into her own home at about 25 ish.

if a man has a serious illness or medical condition, that would not be a strike against him to still be living at home but an able bodied young man in his late twenties and thirties HAPPY and content with being in his parents home is a loser, the truth hurts

Who told you that? And how is that person losing perse if his/her parents don't mind them staying there?

I'm 20 and I live with my parent. I plan on staying here until I begin my career.

Everything about adulthood has been pushed back. The age to leave the house, the age to get married ect.

I think this is also why people consider early 20s as young/kids still and why 30 isn't considered as old as it used to be. It is also why so many 30 year olds are still immature.

Georgia there are gonna be challenges. You may have to think about moving. There are a couple of GA brehs in my overall field (Marketing/Advertising) or related who have mentioned they struggle with racism even in the ATL and a lot of Middle Managers are White holding them back.

60k in Student loans is manageable, especially down South but you are gonna have to hustle hard.

How good are you at doing methodical tasks that require attention to detail? If you aren't good at it now, it is possible through the correct nutrition and physical transformation that you can re-program your brain to operate the way you need it to.

As I mentioned during my 6 month unemployment stint I made sure I got myself in peak physical shape. I noticed when I went on interviews even if I didn't sleep well the night before I performed very well in general. I'll be honest I'm not as jacked as I used to be (back then I was 10% BF easily or under - Now I'm 15%-17%) and feel far more sluggish but some of that is just age. I've been supplementing with CoQ10 lately which has helped a shyt ton with that. The job search has been rocky lately in trying to upgrade my gig currently so I've been slacking in terms of fitness. shyt WILL get harder when you are employed and then trying to make a move. But best believe when you are unemployed you should be dedicating at least 50% of your time towards:

- Low Carb/Sugar, High Protein
- Weight Training and resistance if you're slim like I was, Cardio if you are massively overweight (like 30-40+ pounds)
- MAGNESIUM L-THEORANATE OR ZMA (helps Testosterone)
- Barlean's Omega 3 Fish Oil
- Calcium Fructoborate or Boron to get your Testosterone levels up

Since you are broke you are gonna wanna get the low tier supplements which are more affordable but still absorbed fairly well:

- One a Day Men's Multi
- NOW brand ZMA or Magtein (Magnesium L-theoronate)
- Life extension brand Boron (w/ Riboflavin)
- Barleans is the cheapest fish oil that has the quality you need and provides 90 days servings worth

Can be gotten all from Amazon...Start with this get a home workout regimen going with the goal of hitting this then come back:

- 100 push-ups daily
- 100 sit-ups or crunches daily
- 100 pull-ups daily (if you have a pull up bar)
- 50 bicep curl reps (PER ARM) for 20lb weight

Get Barlean's Flaxseed oil or some Alka Seltzer Aspirin if you get the DOMS (muscle pain) the next day. But don't take both because they interact with each other, just one or the other. (Don't take Aspirin on days you take fish oil, alternate because they interact too).

Focus on the upper body because that's what people first notice for a Man. Build your triceps/biceps/delts/lats and your gut will eventually disappear. There are advanced tactics but you are not ready yet and don't have the budget for it yet.

Oh and two things that help gut fat burning specifically are:

- Pu'erh tea (Prince of Peace brand) - EXCELLENT FAT BURNER FOR THE MID-SECTION
- Kelp (Oregon Wild Harvest brand is good) 1 capsule daily for maintenance, 3 capsule daily for intensive use - Beware, you will get gas with 3 pills a day so don't take this dose on days you need to interact socially - BUT THE shyt WORKS....(NO PUN)

In the meanwhile - Do you think you are inclined or capable to CODE? The reason I say this is it is the most realistic option to get out of your situation right now and pay your bills immediately. Following the above will help your mind function optimally to the point of where you can actually focus and learn what you need to learn to get ahead in life quickly. The federal loans have a deference period but it doesn't last forever so time is of the essence.

Also, wanted to add:

1. What are all the good cities in the U.S. you can think of to live in terms of career opportunities and good race relations? When I have the money I want to move from Americus.

2. How can I become a coder from where I'm at now? Do you have a step by step outline? I still don't know if I'm good at it or will even enjoy it but i need to provide for myself and get out of this hole I'm in.

Thanks, appreciate it man.

1. I do have bills in terms of student loan debt. I have 60,000 in student loan debt i need to pay back.

2. I have tried applying to all of those places you mentioned but no job offer. I will keep trying man, I can't give up.

3. In your opinion, once I start saving after I get a job how long do you think I should stay at home before moving? How many years should I stay home once I get a job? I'm 30 years old now.

This is how they get you in debt to the tax man and keep you shackled, don't fall for it.

This is why Asians have money and are able to expand big. They stay with their fam, contribute, distribute the share of bills and then stack, stack and stack. You will save and have more with 3-4 earners splitting the share than just one who's on their own.
