I don't live in the hood. I live in what most would consider the suburbs. No need to lie. It's a townhouse. 3 bedrooms. 2 /12 baths. Attached garage. My credit is great. 750. Interest rate 3.75%
I stand corrected. But it is cheaper out here

I have a 3 bedroom house with a basement and sunroom on an acre of land near Richmond. Pay 850 a month

Used to stay in wv. Same size house on 5 acres. 600 a month

Had a 2 bed apt in northern va, 30 mins from dc. 1200 a month

How is this possible? How much do you spend on the mortgage?

Something ain't adding up breh :what:
22k is about 1500 a month take home pay

His mortgage probably low as shyt. And he don't spend money on extra shyt. Probably buying necessities and generics

During tax season I get about 9k. I pay $600 for my home warranty. I pay my insurance for the year. This costs me $800 or so. I save 3 months of mortgage to give me wiggle room. That's about 2200 I have to save. Then I pay my car note for six months , about $1500. I also get my car inspected and handle maintenance at this time.

It's very possible.

This is another issue. People watching too much tv

Avg American household makes 52k. that's both partners making 26k a year. And they would have kids as well

How this dude is doing it on 22k who knows. Probably lives in the trap. 757 ain't exactly New York City

But most of America is here surviving on combining 26k with another person making the same
Yet someone on this site the other day told me that $75k (single person household) was peanuts :mjlol:

People are stupid. They think about how they want to live. Car payment, money for fun, drinks, weed, date, movies, gym, whole foods, steaks, eating out

There's motherfukkers out here going to work and home and that's IT. Maybe stop by the dollar tree to do their shopping or aldies or something for all generics and cheap food. No vacations, no nikes, no name brand nothing. No cable, no wifi, no new computer, and a cricket phone

Most of America is broke as shyt for real. That's why you can get killed for a pair of Js. Cause that right there is people groceries for a month

I'm 26 and probably would have lived with my parents for a while past 19 if they didn't move away and leave me in fukking Cincinnati. Been paying my own way for damn near 7 years now. Feel like it's made me a stronger, more adaptable person, but it would have been nice to live with them till like 22 or 23. I've struggled a bit at time. Still trying to finish my degree but c'est la vie

My mortgage is $763. It was 704. When I bought the house, but my property value went up
:dahell:

That's 9156 a year.
That leaves you with 12844 a year for the family. You trying to tell me you pay the bills ( Internet, food, gas, lighting, transportation cost) for two kids and wife with 12844? :what:

Look if you say you're comfortable, then it's whatever but it just seems so hard to fathom. Maybe it's just different, because in NYC you would be eligible for Medicaid, foods stamps and public housing.

He gets back 9g at tax time.
It's doable in va, if he's not try a superstar stunt.

He should apply for foodstamps and children's medical though. Not sure if they qualify for either but it's worth a shot.
