Slide in your own territory with 5+ minutes left in the game against an all time great defense when your offense didn't do shyt all second half brehs. It was stupid when it happened, and it's stupid now. Did I think it would cost them the game at the time? :heh: hell nah, but as I watched dumbfounded with the rest of America at the full time whistle, that was the second play after the onside kick mishandle I went to.

These guys practice situational football since middle school. He did what felt right in the moment. Funny? Yes. Wrong? I'm not so sure. Discount Double Gimp failed miserably in this game and he's been let off the hook. C'mon man. The Hawks turned the ball over so much in the redzone that its CRIMINAL that the Packers did not have at least 24 points on the board at the half. Everybody plays hurt at this time of the year. Rodgers played gutless after Sherman picked his ass off on the first drive. He would't even test Sherman when the chips were down and he had one arm dangling by his side like a piece of wet pasta.

Play not to lose brehs.

once he slid, their defense quit. They got ran the fukk over once Seattle gained the ball back. You seen em on the sideline smiling acting like the game was over. The game is never over, especially with 5 mins left and the best D in football. How many times has crazy shyt happened. GB defense quit and it showed after that pick.

He def shouldn't have slid. That's pretty clear cut from a football perspective. Can't blame the loss on him, which I don't think anyone is doing, however.

This falls on the coach, to me. Its his responsibility to ensure that his players are educated and motivated to finish the game out properly. From the play calling to the words on the sideline, that has to be the message.

Why wasn't Matthews playing? The end of the game was so bizarre(obviously) but the Packers treated the last 5 minutes as if there was 1 minute left.

The year the Jets beat the Pats in the playoff game we almost fell victim to the same stupidity, but luckily Cromartie recovered that onside kick.

No idea, he wasn't injured and played in OT

Julius Peppers didn't play in OT though and Morgan Burnett wasn't on the field for the game winning TD, Richardson (#28) was there and he wasn't playing deep. And he's the backup safety.

It's almost like it was self sabotage and they didn't want to win the game.

Sir - we're still trying to figure this shyt out...it's super fukkn frustrating

Clay Matthews wasn't on the field the final 2 drives of regulation. He came in for the extra point conversion. On that play, russell was running for his life (because you have to game plan for clay). Unfortunately Clinton didn't knock down the ball.....

On the final scoring play, Julius Peppers (our second best defensive player) was on the sideline. Also Morgan Burnett, our veteran safety is also on the sideline. In his place is our 3rd string safety.....

Extra tidbit: On Dez Bryants infamous catch/non catch, guess who is on the sideline....Julius Peppers

yes sliding averts the possibility of fumbling the ball, but would you want one of your offensive players to slide immediately after picking up first down yardage with 5 minutes left and at least 10 yards between them and the closest defender? the only reason you should slide is if you are cornered with nowhere to go or if you are in a kneel down situation.

all these excuses are why they are losers

at the end of he day, when the seahawks needed a TD, Wilson delivered, when the Packers needed a TD rogers got them a field Goal

after the slide after the on side kick after wilson scored and the 2 point conversion, after all that shyt they still had plenty of time on the clock and a chance to win the game in regulation, but FAILED TO DO SO

end of story
