I wouldn't say elite.. but Deeper Than Rap/Teflon Don era Rick Ross was a lot better than "Port Of Miami" Ross. And is still better than he was when he dropped his debut.

Oh shyt, almost forgot. DEFINITELY Mac Miller
I hope it isn't true, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ross started using ghostwriters around DTR.

Biggie was always dope but he made a huge improvement from his earliest recordings to the later recorded songs on Ready to Die. He dropped that old school, Chubb Rock flow.

Yep. I think I said this before but I had to convince my friends Biggie was that dude during that era because Juicy had came out then Warning but kids in my school loved Warning but still tried to front on him

I'd say Waka Flacka. I couldn't stand anything he put out but "I Can't Rap" was actually coherent and still gets play on my iPod
