All three I think got way more charismatic as their careers continued. That to me is one of the greatest elements of any rapper.

It's backwards. Most "emcees" when dropping their first album have all the lyrics in the world, but not that great of/even weak deliveries/charisma/artistry.

Whereas popular rappers' first albums show them as the opposite, where their lyrics aren't that great, but have delivery/charisma in spades.

Talib and Guru have the charisma of a mud puddle. Common went from an incredibly dope m.c. to a doofus in a smurf hat and extra smedium jackets spittin offbeat cliche raps about love and life.

To each his own, though.

I would have to say Jeezy. On TM101 I remember my crew were all hating on his extremely slllllooooooowwwww flow. The song structure was there though. Now you can see he actually practiced his flow and others flow and now stands his own with whoever he is on tracks with. Example is this one with him doing the Migos flow.

another is the Kid Shy Glizzy. DC is my second home and I thought he was one of the worst mc's I heard in a long time but now even he is holding his own on tracks :manny:

Ghostface. The leap he took from the Wu debut to becoming an arguably top 5 to 10 rapper in a lot of people's minds is amazing.
Based on the fact that Ghost is one of my favorites now I didn't really think about it like that, but it's true.

The way Ghostface was on Wu-Tang Forever in comparison to Ironman blew my mind at the time (I was a big Raekwon fan). By the time Supreme Clientele dropped Ghost was no doubt in my mind one of the greats.
