Never stopped growing till the Tical:0 The Prequel era.
After that reality check kicked his ass he got back on his shyt.

Dude could probably outshine a Nas (got bodied on Grand Finale ) or even a Sean Price (got the fyah slapped out of him on Gunz - N - Onez) right now.
He's THAT good in 2015.

Prodigy takes this easily.
He went from average (Juvenile Hell) to elite (The Infamous).
If I'm not mistaken P said Hav wrote a lot of his stuff on JH and P used to help Hav produce beats and find samples.

Jim Jones. Not elite, but the improvement from his first album to now, is large. When he first started, dude was just rambling on the track & not riding the beat at all.
truth his first album was a huge surprise coming after how he sounded on features and DI. that first album is fire tho..and he got even better after it.

List rappers you felt were terrible or just average when they started and eventually felt they were elite rappers then name when you felt they made the switch. Was it gradual or was it instant?
Does it matter? Everyone has ghost writers. :troll:

Biggie was always dope but he made a huge improvement from his earliest recordings to the later recorded songs on Ready to Die. He dropped that old school, Chubb Rock flow.
I said this before and brehs got heated.

Party & Bullshyt is dope. Hella dope. But just comparing the rapping on that to some of the stuff on LAD or the Victory verses and it's a leap from dope to God level.

On RTD and earlier songs he's Meek Mill'ing the vocals.. kinda shouting. Gimme The Loot is a classic and so is You're Nobody Til Somebody Kills You. But the pen game and vocal peformance on the latter is a couple steps above. A master at work. Ready To Die he sounds a little green in the booth.

Yea. But even on Ready to Die you can see the transition. There are some songs where Big still sounds a bit unpolished and is using the old-school, high pitched, choppy flow (Give Me The Loot) and than there's the songs where he sounds like he updated his flow and sounds much more polished (One More Chance, Unbelievable).

@intilectual recipricol you think naS qualifies?

he went from talmbout he run like a cheetah to making some decent shyt like ochie wally even tho horse carried that shyt :ehh:
No doubt, no doubt...

If we were to make it into a 10 point scale...

naS went from "winning shootouts with megacops" :scust: to "throw it like a stallion you wearing my medallion" :patrice:

That's like a 3 point increase. He went from a 0 to a 3. That's a hell of an improvement that I don't think too many rappers can replicate that.

And I ain't read the thread but biggie is another one I would list. Duke had some truly awful shyt on RTD, truly awful. Yet his last verses were pretty good. He went from a 3 to a 6.

Everyone already knows you're an emotionally unstable hermaphrodite :dwillhuh:

I always thought BK was home of the brave. You making BK n!ggas look bad, real bad. Before I thought you was just a trolling ass, dusty f@ggot that didn't take care of his children. Now I know you're a coward and snitch too.
