Jay Z...cuz went from gimmicky speed rapper (hear him in the Big L/Jay Z freestlye) to a well paced wordsmith professional and continued to get better until he plateaued after the blueprint...and I'm a Nas supporter:francis:



But he regressed after blueprint GREATLY:yeshrug:

Erick Sermon stands out in my mind. He went from sounding like he was falling asleep mid-bar in the early days, then once he linked up with Redman he switched his whole style.

E had a big influence on Redman's career, but Redman had a big influence on Erick Sermon as an emcee

Common was my favorite rapper between 2005-2010.
I hated Universal Mind Control but even though the The Dreamer, The Believer is much better it's still very average compared to Be or Finding Forever.
Nobody Smiling was even worse.
