If I stayed at my IT job, I'd be making 130k, or even more if they would have gave me that next grade, like they gave everybody else who came in with me. But with that house and car note, along with inflation, and filing single, I think I still would have been just above broke. That, or the stress would have probably took me out, like they were planning, and like it was doing to so many other brothers and sisters.

Most women want the stability that comes with finances because it creates the confidence in men that they find attractive, not necessarily the money itself. That’s why bums who are confident without money, still pull hoes…..
If money is needed for you to get women, your doing it wrong. It should be only used to get into places with better quality women, not spend it on them…hoes only tell that to tricks.

When I was single, I learned any women living the life was not worth dating seriously. The minute I cut them off, things became so much clearer but they are the vast majority of attractive women. I spent a lil over $1100 just going out last month. Met a new chick, went on a few dates, watched playoffs games and also chilled with my boys.. I was out every weekend. The last weekend I didn’t really do much.. I hit up a bar with 2 of my boys just shooting the shyt over a few beers and grabbing food.. my bill was about $60 including the tip.. my boy looks over to me and says.. this is a cheap ass night if we had chicks with us that bill would’ve been a lot more than that.. and I’m like yeah you right
Here’s the thing.. most women don’t care and are oblivious to finances and how much shyt costs and the moment you start looking at prices and receipts it becomes a turn off. Keep in mind that they themselves could/would not be going out as much if they had to fund these activities themselves as they would not be able to afford it. But none of that shyt matters… it’s working for them. Had a chick show me her IG of all the pics she took of the spots she been to in Miami after moving here a few months ago. You’d think she was ballin… nah.. she broke as fukk, but she got a homegirl with a crazy ass and they just hit up spots and dudes be trippin themselves to buy them drinks/food.
On another night, left the spot with my boy and we met 2 chicks in the parking lot, chopped it up for a bit, then they wanted to know what the next move was.. keep in mind this is like 5 in the morning.. so we really tryna take them back to the crib.. we told them we knew this other spot open till 8.. they said they were gonna Uber and meet us out there.. cool.. they got there before us.. get to the spot.. every nikka in the spot killing themselves to buy them drinks for no reason and they just kept moving onto the next nikka.. I was just like yeah.. I’m good.. I refuse to do that. I’d rather waste money at the strip club.

College was a lot easier. I could spot a good woman just using time and a good hoefax account with accurate trackings. Adulthood was a bytch. It was kind of hard to find out who's a hoe, who's moving funny and you would run into hoe after hoe after hoe till you were hoed out.

But in all seriousness, i think there is some self selection bias going on here. You will find that Folks making 6figs are more likely to want to reply than a reggie making 18k at food lion. So it is possible for us to have an unnatural distribution in this thread.
Even moreso when many of our posters reside in new york, dc, la, or the bay area where that 100k is more like 70k in the rest of the nation. All those aforementioned cities have heavy black populations which would be reflected in coli membership. In such cases the pure dollar amount of 100k is irrelevant when gauging their quality of life, but instead you need to look their real income when all things are adjusted for. So when viewed at from the perspective of a newyork 100k being equivalent to a st louis 70k, you are free to make lifestyle comparisons among coliBrehs. At that rate then its very easy to make that same level of earnings simply doing overtime when its pegged to 70k. City workers make that amount doing stuff like bus driving, trash collecting, being county dog catcher, etc. and Many entry level , nonstem college gigs also pay that amount immediatly after graduating. So do mid tier mgmt positions (dept managers, retail asst store managers, middle mgmt in white collar firms, etc). You see what i mean?
