so this means a lot of them wouldnt be at these big schools without being elite at sports. hopefully while there they take advantage of the free education while on scholly

College isn't the time to learn to read. A person either can or can't read by the time they get to college. The education colleges supposedly get is a farce because most athletes are neither in a position nor are able to benefit from it. Most college players have a far busier and more distracting schedule than the average college student -- and the average college student is more qualified acadmeically. What athletes routinely get is nowhere near their worth to the school. The NCAA and colleges rake in billions and most athletes leave battered, bruised and broke. The NCAA and associated colleges engage in racketeering and authorities turn a blind eye because the majority of athletes being exploited are black. It's no coincidence there are no ridiculous arbitrary eligibility rules in sports where white athletes dominate.

i mean what is the school suppose to do, make them take school seriously when they probably havent taken it serious because they've had a free ride?
some athletes actually come back to school to finish their degrees, is that not beneficial in a sense to them. so lets not act like their are not athletes that dont benefit from the education from these big schools. because honestly if it wasnt for being a big time athlete they probably wouldnt be their to get that schooling.

I can understand it happening, but I can't see HOW dudes can get thru grade school(elementary) and can't read. it's not like they are superstars at that point for teachers to pass hem

60% of Athletes were reading between a 4th - 8th grade reading level
8% were reading below a 4th grade reading level.

Its probably common knowledge for some but its crazy when you stop and look at it. Some of these guys will NOT go pro and some will go pro and have short professional careers.

It pains me sometimes to listen to the post game interviews of some of these guys. Its a system created to basically farm athletes and from a young age. Kids are being intentionally moved along (not just athletes) and I believe this is being done to ensure the success and the futures of "non athletes"...wink wink.

Crazy thing is...there was a time when Blacks owned TWO major baseball leagues. Not teams but the entire LEAGUE! But guys like Jackie Robinson felt that the white man's ice is colder and he went over to the MLB.

Him going to the MLB (so that he could get that pat on the head from white people) was the beginning of the end of Black owned leagues. All the other great Negro league athletes went left after Jackie. "They're saying Jackie is a great baseball player, I think Im just as good. Im going to the MLB to prove it".

I blame parents, and once kids hit a certain age (middle school, definitely high school) I blame the kids also for having no work ethic to at least learn the things they need to learn in each grade.

but you continue with this only black kids getting exploited crap, all kids of different races are exploited in college

You can't get exploited if your respective sport doesn't generate the institution a crazy profit....So I ask, which NCAA sports make most money on a consistent basis?
