Edit: This is worldwide/pop icon status so dont be naming angles, punks, jericho etc. Im talking household names. People who don't even watch wrestling know these dues.

Ok we all know its very easily

1. Hogan (The face of wrestling)

2. Rock (due to his movies)

But after 2 it gets very tricky, Im stuck with andre, austin and undertaker. Whats yall lists?

If this is all time....I mean literally all time from beginning until now...

#1 is Hogan

#2 is Ric Flair

#3 is Andre The Giant

#4 is Randy Savage.

#5 is Dusty Rhodes

They were kings during the 70's and 80's when Pro Wrestling was still considered highly respected in the mainstream. Before it became "sports entertainment" and was treated like a sport.

The only household names I can think of are Hogan, Flair, Austin, Rock, Andre, Macho and maybe Undertaker (based on the gimmick).

But it's different for everyone.

If a kid grew up in the 60's he would probably at least have heard of Bruno.

If a kid grew up in the 70's he probably heard of Dusty or Superstar Billy Graham.

80's.. Piper or Snuka are possibilities..

90's.. Ultimate Warrior and Sting were huge names

I'm not sure guys like Bret or HBK ever reached household status. Outside of those two the WWF was hideous at the time they were on top. It's unfortunate.

They were, my female cousins all knew who hbk was even tho they didnt watch wrestling and Bret was an icon internationally

Bret was on tv show guest spots all the time, mad tv, the Simpsons

I'll give Hogan the nod, b/c he was there in the 80's/90's....every parent knew who he was because he was literally everywhere. Cartoons, movies, etc.

Then Austin.....everyone liked this dude, white/black/brown EVERYBODY loved Stone Cold

Rock
