Moving out into an apartment next week

its gonna be with 2 of my friends and maybe a 4th random roomate because our 4th is trying to get out of his lease
near a college campus, its gonna be furnished and all that shyt and mostly everyone in the complex goes to the school too
ive lived in a dorm before, but not my own apartment where we can just do shyt without getting bothered for it ( RA's and bytchy neighbors)
im pretty excited tho


any advice on how to make my experience pleasant, friends?

congrats my nikka, that is a big accomplishment. Nothing like having your own shyt, invest in some renters insurance, it's cheap and worth it in case some wild shyt happen. I would also recommend buying a lock and key or hiding some of your valuables since u living with other people... even if you trust your friends you still never know who they might have over for company.

Also be careful when u beating ya meatstick, make sure u home alone and not in front of a window or some shyt

Make sure ya'll work out the groceries and refridgerator situation. Don't go eating nikkaz food all willy nilly, but at the same time don't be stingy with it.

And also the cleaning issues. If it's a 2 bathroom apartment, don't have the cleanest most anal person in the house sharing a bathroom with the junkiest nastiest white boy in the house cause nobody wants to clean up after another grown ass man all the time and you ain't never gonna hear the end of it.

Have safe. Keep a budget, Have a stash box where you can put ome side money away for something important. Look for a dollar store around you block so just in case you aint got a much for whatever (Cleaning,food,etc). Have some rules.. Have fun.!

1st poster was right be cordial with your neighbors but dont get too friendly with them. Make sure you have some kinda rules set up to cleaning the crib with that many nikkas in it. Randoms are never good, make sure you vet that nikka

That's a huge plus right there

A clean bathroom is hugely important to me. I can't stand dirty people who leave the bathroom all nasty and shyt. That kinda shyt (and the food situation) is what causes rifts between roomates.
