I've pondered moving there, but I simply cannot live without a thriving city culture. Seattle tries to keep it low key when they could have a seriously exploding city. It is the only other city I'd consider moving to nonetheless.

Maybe after I spend a few weeks there I'll decide. :patrice: I know there's a few posters here from there that can drop a gem on how the city life is.

Speak on it brehs.

What about Fremont area? :lupe:
Fremont is a interesting spot......lotta bars and lots of cacs in the area......

It’s the self-proclaimed “Center of the Universe” and features a bohemian, offbeat lifestyle.
The neighborhood is often characterized by its quirky public art: the Troll under the Aurora Bridge who clasps a Volkswagen Bug; a seven-ton statue of Lenin that is perpetually for sale; a rocket built into the side of a building; and dinosaur topiaries that once graced the roof of Pacific Science Center.

Fremont's brick-and-mortar businesses bring both pop-culture treasures in the two-story Fremont Vintage Mall, and funky, new fashions at more than a dozen unique and local spots

So you 're really gay, breh?

If I squeezed a spud between my buttocks I'd make hash browns :shaq:

what made you choose seattle over say denver or minneapolis? both of those have clean fresh air and high quality of life as well.

Minneapolis just didn't click for me. Denver was actually on the short list of western cities along with Seattle and San Fran. Denver seems cool but Seattle's access to Vancouver and Portland is cool to me. Those are two cities I want to see as well. I also like the fact that it's nestled in the corner of the country. I also think Seattle might be more progressive than Denver. You don't have to live outside the city to be in the suburbs. The suburbs are integrated in downtown areas. San Fran is just too pricey. I wouldn't have money to actually enjoy myself and all the city has to offer.
