I was a ms.jade stan. Im probably the only nikka here who have her shyt other then girl interrupted. But lets not make shyt up. Ms.Jade was never popping. She was never on the verge of blowing up. She came out at the time where Eve was running shyt which made everyone compare the 2 cause they both from Philly. Then she tried to make her little comeback at the time Nicki first started popping.

She has some classics with philly aritsts though. Namely Meek and Freeway. Crazy that chick like 33-35 now though lol.

I was wondering what happened to Ms. Jade, but never looked into it.

As far as the Tink situation, it's always gonna be some dikk-riders for the simple fact that the rap landscape (as far as what's popular nowadays) is looking rather desolate.

To a starving man, a cracker seems like a banquet.

I'm just glad to see more females in the game getting recognition.

Jade came out 01-02 if i remember. Eve was everywhere at that time. Who that girl and let me blow your mind was huge .And I fully remember the song with her and alicia keys being everywhere and she was on the michael jackson butterfly remix.

Yeah, I know it's all opinion but IMO Rah Digga is far better than both of them, and I fux with Ms Jade heavy. Like somebody else said, her Philly shyt is classic material. But I favor Rah's bars, personally....trained with The Outlawz, went bar for bar (literally) with Lauryn Hill, shorty is battle-tested and writes her own shyt, I respect that.

And yeah, NOBODY listened to Dirty Harriet, it's a shame.

Also, I fux with Dreezy moreso than Tink....again, just personal preference.

jade's mixtape stuff blows it out the water. she even served foxy brown. nobody else did that except queen latifah.

jade is basically the best female rapper to come out in the '00s. she never got her props. she was Eve on steroids.
