This is absolute nonsense on her part
Irv Gotti told the same story. Someone in his entourage told him not to look her in the eye, hug her and only call her Ms. Hill. He ignored it all and did it anyway. Nothing happened.
This is absolute nonsense on her part
That’s a very nebulous description of the process, the bolded specifically creates space for doubt as to just how much was crafted by her (won’t even get into melody and instrumentation as I wouldn’t hold that against any artist who’s not also a musician). It’s awesome to have ideas, but if you can’t create lyrics/songs from them then you better play nice with those who can. Seems like she knew what she wanted to sing about and they created it for her.Lauryn was definitely the guide—it was her vision,” Jo says. “Our job was to take whatever was in [her] head and put it down for her.” This led to a building-block process of writing, where a spark would morph into an idea, become a groove and then emerge as a song. “Everybody had jobs,” Pugh remembers. “Vada’s job was to find that groove that made us hum. Then T [Tejumold] and Jo’s job was the instrumentation to enhance that groove. And when the groove was so catchy that it made us hum—either Lauryn or me—then it was time to create those words that she wanted to sing. It was literally constant work; even when you didn’t think you were working, you were working. The vibe was incredible.”

^^^ Words from the people who sued her regarding their role in the album. Now tell me how their account differs from hers. They sued her, but nowhere do they accuse her of theft. Lauryn was sued for not properly distributing credit due to not having paperwork. Now you have illiterates and overall ignorant people to tak that to mean theft.
And that ego is well deserved!!Her ego is on another planet. My goodness.
It is theft if you refuse to pay these people and give them the appropriate writing credits for their contribution. You are entitled to writing credits for adding a fukking one off cymbal to a song, so if the process of writing the album took place as described then everybody in these sessions deserved writing credits.Lauryn was definitely the guide—it was her vision,” Jo says. She even mentions if Glasper felt that way all along why would he even want to work with her especially when he claims she wronged his friends? Why aren't ya'll questioning Glasper calling her out AFTER his bad experience?
Probably less than what the cacs are paying ya'll for the smear campaign.

@ smear campaign. FOR YEARS there have been multiple artists saying how unprofessional and crazy she is. FOR YEARS multiple posters saying how unprofessional her shows they've attended have been...But you're on a campaign to call her an angel that can do no wrong
He actually mentioned that in the interview.
He avoided working with her for years but one of his friends basically said the Gig was easy money and he wouldn’t have to worry about auditioning. shyt went left when her manager tried to finesse the band out of half their pay and he said “i quit” and walked out. The manager came out after him on some
“lets make this right”.
He made them wire all his money on the SPOT and he continued with the show
