To be honest, I used to think that the guys who sued her were the bad guys trying to fish money out of Lauryn. But with the overall portrayal of her attitude and her demeanor, i'm starting to side with the guys who sued her.

Seen her live in Asheville, NC...she's a monster!!!! And I've seen Stevie Wonder, JayZ, Ye, Prince, Big Sean, Lupe, and many other incredible performers live and she's right there or higher.

All of her juelzing would be well and good IF there wasn’t clear precedent of her unprofessionalism and mistreatment of band members.

Robert Glasper isn’t the FIRST musician to claim that Lauryn was on some shady business practices. She was actually sued by a musican a few years ago for unpaid wages.

She ROUTINELY shows up late for shows and performances. If you “care” so much about your fans, you show up on time and perform as the fans have PAID for. Not only that, she’s notorious for ending performances early. Just an all around unprofessional.

I don't know why you guys keep doing this. Everything Glasper said was true. It's documented and has been public record for years. This isn't new information.

stumbled upon this gearslutz thread with one of the engineers talking about the thing with "No eye contact and only calling her Ms.Hill or you'll be fired" sometime ago but yeah, the whole thing about Lauryn being an ass isn't some recent thing like some people are trying to claim but its been going on for awhile now.

Basically I got that she may not "write" the movie but she directs it, auditions the cast, and hand picks the cinematographer; and without her vision the picture wouldn't be as beautiful...

A lot of artist use art as a scapegoat to do any and everything they want without reproach. Her response is indicative of manipulation behind the guise of artistic vision.

I'm still play her music cause it's dope but I'm gonna call a spade a spade.
