For real.
The ps2 was an absolute juggernaut in it's day. The 360 won the battle of this generation, but they aren't riding anywhere near the wave of domination Sony had been coming off during that last round.
Sony made a lot of dumb gaffs and we're off puttingly arrogant, but the price was really the only major blunder they had. Microsoft is looking at a similar price blunder, DMR hangups, mandatory peripherals most people don't care about, and required internet connection.

As a soldier currently deployed overseas I must say that the internet connectivity issue will be a major deathblow for potential X-box One owners amongst military personnel. Most of the soldiers following E3 and all the announcements have proclaimed that they will be buying the PS4 mostly JUST ofr that reason. It is IMPOSSIBLE for us here in Afghanistan to be internet connected 24/7
