It is not confusing. People know who the African Americans are.

White people just don't want to pay reparations to the descendants of the people that made this country prosperous, so they are using immigrant Black people and their children like Joy Reid, to try conflate the issue so that they don't have to pay. They used to do the same thing with White women by calling them minorities. They used to do the same thing to immigrant White people that came from Italy, Germany, Poland, Ireland, etc., in the 1880s by telling them that they (the immigrants) built the Country, rather than Black people; even though New York City, Chicago, Washingon D.C. and Boston were already built when the immigrants from Europe staggered off of the gang planks of those ships. White people are now conflating Hispanics into the same equation, even though they know that Hispanics are from South of present day United States.

Notice this though. When it comes time to put nikkas out the Country then all of a sudden White people can discern the difference between African Americans; Black immigrants and the children of Black immigrants. In fact White people will even tell Black immigrants that they are not African Americans.

You have selective reading skills. I listed other groups that they have also used to conflate the issue as well. They have always done that when it came to attempting to treating African Americans equitably and making them whole.

You might not know this, but Affirmative Action and other Civil Rights era laws were created with the notion of addressing the inequalities foisted upon African Americans during slavery and later yet during the Jim Crow era. However, White women have been the biggest beneficiaries of Affirmative Action not only in education (note how their University enrollment increased after Affirmative Action was passed), but also in employment as more White women have benefited from the employment laws than African Americans. Then White people stretched Affirmative Action and Civil Rights laws to include Hispanics and then the Gays and now it covers religion and nationality, and all kinds of shyt. However, it never fixed the initial issue that it was designed to fix, which were making the descendants of the slaves in the USA whole.

White people paid reparations to other groups, including the Japanese who they interred in prison camps during WWII and to some Native Americans; however they have not attempted to compensate African Americans descendants, and to accomplish this goal of not paying up they have purposely conflated who is Black with who is an African American. The reason that they have done so is that they don't want to pay, so they will claim that not all Black people are African Americans and therefore since they can't determine who is who then they will not pay. So this is all about dilution for the White man. He attempts to dilute everything when it comes to dealing with past injustices that he has done to African Americans.

Social media is a great leverage but at some point you have to get outta the basement and actually engage people organize events and rallys, groom candidates, hold a townhall meeting, something.

Get a clue on what the movement is about before posting. Those Immigrants are not Black and aren't classified as African Americans nor are they qualified for any programs to benefit AAs. The Ados movement is to define and restrict AA identity to those who trace their origin in America to the Africans enslaved here.
