That’s true. Chris Matthews was very egregious- he compared Bernie’s campaign to Nazis rise in Germany before he got the boot and even then, I remember there were rumors of sexually inappropriate comments swirling around.
He got the boot because of the allegations, not because Hardball

And they've been slowly easing him back into the fold.

I've seen him as a guest on Morning Joe multiple times

Truth be told, MSNBC needs a Hardball type show with a Chris Matthews type host that will ask people difficult questions and not massage the ego of people on "the left"

All POC. All had their shows canceled.

MSNBC = Might See Nothing But CACs :mjpls:
Crazy how media outlets all adopted the “appease the president” staffing model. MSNBC literally choosing self-destruction over providing a service (that they’ve gotten shyttier at over the last 15 years)

I caught about 30 seconds today of some former Fox News fake blonde spokesmodel doing a half-ass job challenging some Trump staffer. If that’s what they are they’re just sitting around waiting to get bought by some billionaire to spew more corporate propaganda

their viewers dont like feeling dumb. they think of themselves as the most informed voters in america. MSNBC baited them with appeals to ego and then fed them a steady stream of propaganda. first they made people believe trump was going to prison. then they made their viewers believe people were happy with biden's leadership, then they made people believe biden wasnt demented, then they made people believe kamala had the momentum.

they also made their viewers believe trump will end democracy. that remains to be seen, but we see already that biden greeted trump at the white house and generally behaves like a man who is not the last democratically elected president. joe and mika immediately went out to trump's house to glaze him down, so they are kinda revealing that they dont really believe the shyt they harped on all these years either.

im not sure what MSNBC can do about it. i know maddow took a $5M paycut. the lead talent taking paycuts might delay the inevitable for a little while...
She was getting $30 million to show up 1 day a week, crazy.

it was mild flirting but he had a history and they wanted to get rid of him for a while. they gave Maddow some kind of creative direction role a while back to chose talent and she basically force out anyone not aligned to the Greenwich village elitist liberal side of the party.

The network seems to be keeping it's name even though Microsoft and NBC will both no longer be involved with it. Name means nothing.
