Props to Maddow for (about as much as she could) blasting MSNBC for cutting Joy Reid like they did. Personally I don't think Joy should have ever had her own show she should have been on a group show like what's replacing her but for them to unprofessionally fire her like they did was dirty.

Joy Reid should have been fired alongside Chris Matthews for what they did to Bernie after he won Nevada in 2020. I used to like both, but I’ll never forgive that disgusting hit job. It was one of the most disgusting hug jobs that I have seen on live TV. Now look at the ramifications of kneecapping Bernie.

That’s true. Chris Matthews was very egregious- he compared Bernie’s campaign to Nazis rise in Germany before he got the boot and even then, I remember there were rumors of sexually inappropriate comments swirling around.

He’s not lying though. Hakeem and Chuck haven’t shown any leadership. It’s Bernie, AOC, Jasmine and a few others leading the fight. The same people that the Dem refuse to give official leadership positions to because they would rock the boat too much for the DNC big donors.
The fact that Bernie is going on sold out tours to red and purple districts to fight against the oligarchy while Hakeem goes to Silicon Valley to kiss big tech ass, says all you need to know.

It means the average voter has a battery in their back and is not exercising critical thinking skills to pick who they vote for. If some corporate backed mouthpiece isn't telling them to vote a certain way they're not really going to consider it.
Given the politicians the general public elects to congress Bernie would be toothless as a president but that too is caused by the public.
