If Kendrick comes #1 , and after winning BET "Lyricist of the year"... that is one amazing run.

Nas should've been top 10, Meek might've moved 4 million but Nas got busy in the skreets.
Weezy won't even be on the list this year
Nas, Kendrick, 2 Chainz, rick ross and nikki minaj is def in top 5
I think 2 chainz or kendrick gonna be No. 1
there aint no nas fool .. only ole heads checking for nas .. and no nicki
its kendrick 2-chainz rick ross, wayne .. ill bet your life on that
Keef? No wide audience is checking for him, it took Kanye remixing "Don't Like" to even get that song out there like that. You can survey the average music listener and they probably think that was a Kanye West track
@*Drake being #5
Shock posting at it's finest, who the fukk are these 4 cats that are hotter than Drake.
They're dikkriding Ross too hard, Ross is my man but they put him #1 last year and he couldn't even go gold. 2 Chainz without a doubt biggest song was mistaken for being Drakes song..
Drake, Ross, Wayne and Kendrick are obviously 1-4.
Cat just dropped a single went straight top 5 in the country in all genres.
No features, no pop, no poppy beat straight like that.
Meek and ASAP weren't all over blogs and magazines?Imo Meek didn't play a very significant role on those joints.
Any song featuring Drake is hot, didn't know Burn was anything special and Self Made Vol 2 was a group album. With 1 hot single by Wale; Bag of Money, in which Meek played a very insignificant role.
Overall heat, Meek is a new artist, with a lot of young stans with a lot of time for free promotion. But every time I read real magazines, read real blogs, talked to real people in regards to hiphop I heard a lot about Nas in 2012. While Meek just seems to drop a lot of shyt and nothing gets props. Of the amount he drops he should've been on the list. I just think that an artist should be able to 1 album and be appreciated. Anyone can drop 200 songs in a year if only 20 are hot (and those being the ones where you are the least popping artist on the track). I'm not saying that he's cold, I'm just saying that if we adjust for fukkery it's arguable that Nas could've been hotter in 2012.
2 types of people care about sales and mention them with stuff like this.If your truly saying that Future belongs on that list over Nas, when Nas outsold him, was more critically acclaimed, and was "remembered" enough to be included in several best of the year listings for music then you sir, are an idiot
This list is trash every year. That criteria is bullsh*t and allows them to justify including anyone. Trinidad James will probably make the list based off of "Buzz", "Style" and "Impact" alone.
FOH...
