I have absolutely had with with MDA. He beats the starters into the ground, then wonders why bench guys aren’t that productive when he randomly puts them in. Then when bench guys manage to show something, the minute they make a mistake, he glued them back to the bench when we need that production. He is a complete cancer to this team and should have been let go for doing the same last year (and the previous season during game 5 of the Spurs series). Anybody defending MDA needs a foot right in their asscrack. Unfortunately, Tilman is also a cancer. He’s choosing saving money over actually fielding a legit team, which is stymieing the moves Morey surely wants to make. fukk MDA.
I also blame Les or Morey (or both) for bringing in MDA to begin with.
We can go back 3-4 years where a number of us said this shyt wasn't gonna work the moment it happened. That one good year from CP3 made MDA look far better than he actually was, and that has backfired because the muthafukker still here and the expiration date on this team as currently constructed is about expired.

Morey does deserve some blame, but the least just cause he historically is forward thinking and always manages good needed trades and pickups, but apparently can’t do that cause of Tilman’s cheapness. But you’re right about CP3 hiding his flaws. That is an outlier year from MDA and I can’t stand it. If you fire someone’s assistants heading into a season, that clearly means you don’t want them here, and they should have finished the job.

Popping back in here, I pretty much know the answer already, but how do you have firm control in the first and second quarter, blocking shots, getting easy buckets, getting in transition and being generally active, then just going completely away from that, looking deflated, lifeless, and scatter brained??

I hope y’all realize that MDA is legitimately pulling a sabotage operation to get fired, but Tilman doesn’t want to look like the bad guy, even though for most NBA Houston fans he already is. He’s enabling Harden to continue to launch 3s despite missing them all, burying PJ with 40+ minutes a game and reducing his productivity, despite previously saying PJ would cap out at 30 minutes going forward. Also, how does Hartenstein get buckets in Capela’s place while he was out, and also off the bench, then plays 1 minute in the next 4 games AFTER MDA says he was impressed with his play and will firmly have the backup C spot going forward? fukk this guy and get him out of here.
I didn't watch the game but i recall checking the box score in the 4th and seeing we were up double digits. Then later I tune in to TNT and Webber/Harlan talkin bout the Rockets lost again tonight
