3. Islam was the concept used to control the minds of conquered people, hence the muslim crusades.
I appreciate that Islam gave some young black men the discipline needed.
But the Black man is God and we need to worship God in our own identity like other cultures. This is alot to do with where the self hate stems from.

My Dear Brother...Farrakhan truly has an army around him which is why he still is alive today. The brother simply can not be touched...I think it's backwards thinking and a lack of faith on your behalf to believe that someone can not be truly protected by God. I've studied the teachings of the nation since I was 10 years old...I'll be 32 in September...and I've had an on again off again relationship with the Nation...but the conclusion that I've come to is that one thing you can not say about Farrakhan is that he's a liar...I've studied many hours dissecting and scrutinizing the teachings of Fard, Elijah, and Farrakhan and in every word I can find nothing but truth no matter how far fetched the ideologies are, upon further reading and learning I have found no fault or flaw in the teachings

In that case, Adam (peace be upon him) was the first messenger. And I do not know what date that would be. To Moses, Noah, Yusuf, Ibrahim and countless other messengers.
Exactly in islam it states that the last messenger is Muhammad (peace be upon him) and no other messenger/ prophet will come after. We (as Muslims) are a part if Muhammad's (peace be upon him) umma. Meaning his group that has received is message.

I guess it is a debate on semantics. Messenger can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Even if I was a scholar or imam I couldn't consider myself a messenger due to the last one already selected by Allah.
As far as the image goes, to say man was created in the image of god wouldn't that be limiting? In any case I respect everyone's faith/ religion We can agree to disagree.
