This is why I hate debating these trolls. Their disinformation is like 2-3 lines, but you can't clarify the truth without delving deeply into history, scripture, etc.. It takes far more energy to write a nuanced, well thought--out response than some simple troll job. But I feel compelled to respond
He was illiterate and only spoke Arabic. Only biblical scholars had access to religious scripture back then. What you're saying is that an illiterate man from Arabia had a better grasp of biblical literature, which wasn't even available to the
Christian and Jewish masses, than actual students of the Bible. Think about that for a second
He was a scholar in ancient Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew, right?
You think they had Google and wiki back then Breh? They didn't even have paper.
No he didn't.
He died without a penny to his name and his own household would go hungry for days. Sometimes they would survive on dates and bread.
The woman who raised him when his own mother died was black, his adopted son was black, his close friend, Bilal, the first man to make the call to prayer, was black. You had entire Arabian tribes that had blacker skin than me. He
literally said that there is no superiority for a white person over a black person in his farewell message before he passed 1400+ years before blacks got their civil rights in America. Yet he was racist?
There are no Islamic laws that discriminate based on skin color, yet your beloved West had such laws up until recently.
If you had an honest bone in your body and wasnt such an effeminate cac, you would've at least tried to reconcile between the clear texts that were posted earlier and the obscure texts that you just posted. Clearly they seem to be contradictory. Instead you ignore those that do not support your position and promote those that do. Is this what your Christianity teaches you? To lie when it benefits you?
You cac trolls resort to obscure texts without even understanding their classification by Islamic scholarship. You pick and choose selectively to paint a certain narrative when the most authentic texts totally refute your nonsense.
Fact is: it is unanimously agreed upon by Muslim scholarship that all forms of tribalism, and especially racism, are strictly forbidden in Islam. Go to any fatwa site in English and see what it says. Legally, racism is strictly prohibited which means that Muslims who are racist are acting outside the confines of the law.
This is how
we view
our prophet and the example that he set. You can dig up these obscure texts all you want, but they do not change how those of us who actually follow his traditions view him and what we believe to be true.
False, there was no organized black slave trade in Arabia during the time of the Prophet pbuh. The slaves who were in Mecca were predominantly captives of war. Some were Abyssinian, others were from other Arabian tribes, some were Persian (one of the most prominent companions of the Prophet pbuh was a freed Persian slave), some were Byzantine etc.. The East African slave trade began centuries after the death of the Prophet pbuh. You need to get your facts right.
The Abyssinians slaves were captives from Abraha's (Abyssinian general who invaded Yemen and marched in Mecca shortly before the Prophet's birth) army. The Meccans had good trade relations with Abyssinia after that, which is why the first hijrah was to that land.
Where did you get this?
Way before the Europeans taught blacks to worship a white Jesus, the Prophet pbuh taught us that Jesus was a dark skinned man. He also taught us that Moses had black skin
He said that the anti-Christ will be a short, pale skinned man. That doesn't mean that all whites are evil.
He described Turks as people who have flat faces, small eyes and wear clothes that is made of animal hair (as far as I remember). This is before the Arabs came into contact with Turkic tribes of central Asia. Describing people by their features to an Arab crowd who might be unfamiliar with them is not racist.
This has nothing to do with skin color, you ignoramus
Black people can have radiant faces and white people can have faces that are dulled and which emanate no light.
It's debated. Even those who say she was 6 state that the marriage was consummated when she became sexually mature. At any rate, this is a non-issue for anyone who has studied ancient history. Up until recently, sexual maturity = onset of puberty. It was the norm all over the world and if you trace your own genealogy, you'll find many of your grandmothers were younger than the current legal age of consent in the West.
According to the socio-cultural climate at the time (globally), he consummated his marriage with an adult woman. What you are doing is taking modern standards and applying them retroactively, which is not fair. That's like saying Noah pbuh committed a crime by building an ark without the necessary permit from the government
Virgin Mary is said to have been 12 or 13 when she gave birth to Jesus pbuh by the way
The Prophet pbuh married his first wife when he was 25 and she was 40-45 (if I recall correctly). He stayed married to her until she passed away during the boycott in Mecca. To make him out to be some type of perv is disingenuous at best. All the other marriages after that were to establish bonds with the tribes of Arabia, or to marry widowed women.
Aisha was the daughter of his best friend and most prominent supporter, Abu Bakr, and marrying her cemented their familial bonds as was customary in Arabia. Aisha also grew to become one of most prominent scholars in Islam and (I believe) the thirdt most cited source of Hadith. Their marriage was Divine inspiration. There's a lot of issues that can only be resolved legally in Islam, because of Aisha.
Their marriage wasn't even problematized until the 20th century when the cultural norms surrounding the legal of consent had changed in Europe.
Up until the early 20th century, Europeans were wifing up 5-10 year olds.
Age of Consent in European & American History
Age of consent in Delaware was like 7 years old until the early 1900's.
And with that said, I'm out of this thread. People who are genuinely curious and want to learn more are free to contact me by PM and I will answer to the best of my ability.
