Facts. I got a feeling that these cacs were slowly building up to a compliant, just before covid hit. The other black guy had left and I guess I was the team's only way in to the Black world.

"Fillerguy you've changed, whats wrong? Lol!"
" You got kids? You never go to the city with us, lol!"
"What do you do when you're not working? Lol!"
"Its 605pm, working late? Lol!" * I get off at 6 and usually leave within 30 secs*

I started volunteering to take on more work just so I'd have an excuse to be too busy stare faces with them:francis: In a review they said I give the impression that Im not enjoying myself. My job consists of helping the rich get richer but reap none of the wealth... no im not enjoying myself:stopitslime: but we dont get paid for that, do we? Mind you, we've had multiple ppl have mental breakdowns on the job but im the problem:gucci:

I was planning on quitting 1qtr 2020 before they came up with a reason to replace me. Turns out wfh increased my already high performance and im one of the few they actually trust to be left alone to my own devices.

When you don’t respond people do the most

When fujins on Tekken don’t let me get a move in and I just stop playing the match they flip out and do the most. It’s like damn why do my inaction bring out more in you. Just take the match nikka, you’re playing as a female character online it’s not serious :gucci:

Also that’s why you gotta have a “Day/networking/social persona” like Bruce Wayne :yeshrug:

it’s like a customized character to help you survive but it’s not really you. But still useful

MAAAAAAN y'all are missing a good ass opportunity to troll these cacs lol When I was working retail I was living like 5 different lives :russ: On the real you should get to know your colleagues. You never know who these people know, or what connections they have. I got free hockey tickets for pretty much a whole season. I got hooked up with my current job making 25% more cause of an old colleague. I don't believe anyone should be forced to talk to anyone, but at least make an effort. It's a lot easier for a manager to let you go if you have no connection with them or your peers.

There's a long pattern of cacs feeling some kind of way when you just get on with your job without being the office clown/blabbermouth. They'd feel more comfortable with you dancing on the desk like Bobby Schmurda than when you just do what you're being paid for and not chatting your business They hate when they can't control you and have no leverage. I remember years ago in school reading Black Boy by Richard Wright and he got fired on the spot because his boss felt threatened at that very fact.

With that being said, I try to maintain a good rapport for the most part so I can use them for information, nothing more. Always comes in handy. I'm not trying to be buddies with cacs in the workplace.

Black folk aren't overly talkative especially when they are one of the only black people on the team/department. That shyt is low key institutional racism.

Nothing lowkey about it. And you have people agreeing with this nonsense.

Most black people dont speak in the office around cacs because its an uncomfortable environment.

They dont care about your comfort level but you have to cater to theirs? :gucci:Foh.

Thats a definite example of institutional racism that we face everyday that they pretend not to know about.
