My DFW brehs, what is Dallas like?

Is 360 as bad as everyone says it is during rush hour? My office is in Colleyville, so if I'm leaving from the High Hawk area in Grand Prairie, my options would be 360 or 161.

360 is packed during rush hour. From GP to Colleyville 1hr in rush hour. 161 would be a better option but its the same really

Y'all remember the first day Hurricane Harbor(Wet 'n Wild) open up for business in 95'.

100.3 Jamz threw a free out of school party there that day and a riot broke out. That shyt made national news and everything.


WTF!!! was 100.3 Jamz thinking by letting all those thug nikkas and hoodrats in there for free.


The news showed nikkas stealing all the food from the concession stands and stealing money from the cash registers. nikkas was walking out with floats and shyt.

Thug nikkas was stripping chicks down butt naked.

I was mad I couldnt go .... no babysitter and I was living with my granny when the cowboys won the superbowl, so I missed the parade and was pissed I couldnt participate in the rioting but sat and watched all my friends on tv....ahhh memories.

But downtown in the 90s was live as hell. We had the arcade at the west end. We used to skip school in the inderground tunnels that span the whole downtown. I remember when these blue jordans came out. Mfs robbed the train they were being shipped on. So they werent in stores and if police saw u with a pair on they were snatching em off ya feet. Health specials was entirely too hood to be a school for pregnant girls....neverending fights.

Heard a lot of hate for AT&T U-Verse. Looks like the other big cable option is Time Warner. Otherwise, it's satellite (and I'm not sure I want to deal with a scrambled picture every time it rains or the wind picks up).

Any Dallas brehs have thoughts on cable/internet options in the DFW area?

Heard a lot of hate for AT&T U-Verse. Looks like the other big cable option is Time Warner. Otherwise, it's satellite (and I'm not sure I want to deal with a scrambled picture every time it rains or the wind picks up).

I have Uverse. Its aight, but they're about to upgrade to Quantum speed or whatever their 100Mbps and 1Gbps in the summer and before year end respectively. I imagine that will boost their PQ as well. They're supposed to add tuners as well. Good channel lineup and ok PQ. Its not FiOS, but its not bad. The upgrade will be to fiber closer to the home so that will boost the PQ. With the current 15/15 haven't had any trouble streaming HBO Go or Netflix. Time Warner is our other option, but I've had it several times and am just not a fan. Perhaps they've changed, but I'd just go Uverse until the Comcast merger is more clear. If you're in Garland or the northern burbs you can get FiOS. Best PQ and internet out there until the AT&T upgrade. Wish FiOS would take over our coverage area, since they do fiber to the house. That PQ is just crystal clear. I still keep a Media Center with cablecard at my parents house to record and stream to my house via Plex and it looks better than Uverse over Plex.

Arlington/Grand Prairie got hit hard. Neighbors on my street had fences down and missing patches of their roofs.

My house survived from what I can tell ...although a neighbor's chimney cap ended up in my backyard
