All properties in London are expensive. Didn't you watch Panaroma on BBC1, last week? Due to the benefit caps, thousands are being shipped outside of London, because they can't afford to keep up with the rent. Inflation is a real problem. Buying a property here on your own is not feasible in this economy. I'm looking to go up north myself, once I'm looking to buy.

its crazy..... the only place I could tolerate up north is Birmingham....... and even then....

Yeah, its mad. Central London and even outer London now is so expensive. You got flats and houses in shytty ass areas going for millions. Its crazy. I guess its similar to how NYC is these days...

The recent floods kind of killed my dream of living in the countryside...

:sadcam:

Ugh, the Birmingham accent is too annoying.

Now that I think about it.. only the London accent is acceptable to me.

:ohhh:

the one time I went to Newcastle.....smh....I think I understood every fifth word in a sentence.....

The Geordie accent is alright... Cheryl Cole seems to be doing okay :lolbron:

Although I love the Irish accent... sometimes I struggle to understand them.

There was this Irish lass next to me once, and I thought she was speaking in Polish (or some other Eastern European language)..

:mjlol:

Then I listened a little closer and was like... wow... she's speaking English.

:ohhh:

I like all that area though. Its always something going down.

I used to hang out in Picadilly, Leicester Square on weekends back in the day, at night. There's always some crazy stuff going on. We used to hang out by Trocadero and all that.
