I helped my good friend through cancer. Him and his wife asked me for help. Visited them for weeks at a time. Looked after their kids they named me godfather of youngest. I moved 30-40min from them got great deal on a home.

The dynamic completely changed they stopped reaching out to me and stopped inviting me over. I guess the husband was better and out I go…

People ask for and take the help then when they better it’s well I’m good now. There’s no paying homage or anything.

I feel bad for the guy but I've become a spiritual person and I believe he likely had some past life karma to clear up. I know that sounds crazy but as someone who believes in reincarnation, I believe that often the universe puts people in our lives who use us or we provide service to into order to clear up karmic debt from past lives.

All that said, sometimes you just gotta take the L and move on with your life. It's hard to judge women's true character because they will change up at the drop of a dime but you really have to do your due dilligence before you commit to one and make sure she's 100 percent down for you and only you before committing.

Best thing to do is act like you don’t give a fukk and move on. If you ever see her in public, give her a dap and keep it moving. Any sign of you reaching out, or asking for closure etc is a sign of weakness on your end and you gonna look foolish for doing it and she won’t respect it any way. Any explanation she would give you, will just leave you more confused and upset.

Women are experts at emotional gaslighting, and any sign of pressure from you will result in her using her trump card of crying on command and making seem like your the bad guy and victimize herself. Take you L, leave it where it is and move on.

Willing to bet it had to do with the wife and her possibly cheating with you. You moving that close must have made him feel insecure that the wife could easily have access to you.
