Never understood why they imprisonment as punishment for failing to pay child support. Being imprisoned means losing a job, a criminal record which makes it harder to get a job and pay child support, in addition it means further estrangement with the family he's supposed to have contact with. It's like collapsing pieces of structure/deck which hold together a house. Eventually push the guy too much and it will all collapse.

Because at the end of the day, it's about the destruction of the family unit.

They just came up with a brilliant way to get the victims to finance their own doom.

Remember back when the welfare/AFDC program started back in the 60's? If you had a man in the house, they disqualified you.You had to be a single mom to get that check.


Instead of all the divisive shyt, how about helping FAMILIES? Not just the woman or the man, but the whole unit?

I got out the army and asked for a reduction while i looked for a new job the god damn judge
kept my sh!t at the same rate ...i asked how am i going to pay if im temp. uneployed
they didnt give a fukk....so about 3 months later while i had my youngest son home with me
the fukkin shefiff knocks on my door telling me im going to jail for failure to pay...and if i didnt have someone
to get my son then they calling child protective services....


The judge the prosecutor and appointed lawyers are all in cahootz and curupt as fukk...
it was no need for my sons mom to put me on child support and get the courts involved in our sh!t
i was paying her $400 a month when my moms died i told her i couldnt pay on the first give me a few weeks

now im paying $600 a month for 1 kid and im so fukking bitter that it stops me from wanting to communicate
with m sons mother and my son is paying by my lack of communication....
Today is his birthday im getting him a puppy ...but his moms be talking bad about me smh...

So because the man can't pay the woman the money, he has to go to jail, but by the same token, the mother isnt doing well enough to support the child on her own, evident by her filing for child support in the first place.

So if the mother can't take care of the kid on her own, why does SHE get custody, and why does HE get stick paying support, then if he cant come up with the money, hes thrown in jail? If you took the kid and have it to HIM; and then ordered HER to pay support and she couldn't deal with it, then she should be locked up right? That's pretty much just the systems way of picking one party to stick it to, and they picked the man.

I posted it before, it's off of your income/expenses and medical benefits. If I had to pay child support for one kid here in Illinois on my salary it would be $1,400/month.

That's tax free, straight $1,400 every month.
From infancy to 21 years old.

Yep, and young kids RARELY, if ever, bring up finances. They just want to spend time with their father, but courts and scorned women are evil as fukk. All she has to do is report him and they could snag his ass. Now, the kids will be sad because their dad is locked up.

It is CHILD support. If the dad is wealthy and the mom is poor but has custody, then the CS is high so that the CHILD can stunt like his daddy.

I did some shyt like that with my first bm after the marine corps i was like fukk it for about two yrs while trying to build my self up out here in California, so i put that out of sight out of mind .....BIG MISTAKE. ....ignored all the court dates and all that one day after school...... knocka knocka nikka..... i only spent two days in jail but that was enough for me aint missed a payment in almost 10yrs pay that shyt brehs and move on with life ......
