Edit: to further expand most new houses in bay area are double homes (2 homes put together, no yards or very little yards). They run $450-600+k in the suburbs/outskirts of SF (45 min away).

A 1 bedroom apartment in vallejo will be about $400-500k to buy in a decent area. Apartment.

1-2 bed room Apartments in San Francisco are currently running about $4-11k a month depending on tower you live in.

When you look at the numbers of who owns what card GTX 980 is on the "high" end of things. Majority of PC gamers are gaming well below that level. Therefore it doesn't make sense to call it "mid", otherwise you are saying that the majority of PC gamers are playing on "low end" hardware.

No I'm saying that an pc with a Intel i3, 4gb of ram, and an Gtx 980ti is not a high end pc.

I'm also saying that, correct me if I'm wrong, none of the cards in the bench mark tests you posted are below the minium requirements.....so they're not low end.

And either way the majority of people are playing at a much lower level.
