Compared to whats out now? Lower mid range cards can outclass a Pro. an RX480 can spank the Pro. And thats facts. PS4 and X1 original aint even in the conversation. Them shyts have mid range cards from 2012 n shyt.So if the xb1x is mid range whats the ps4 pro?

I didn't build pc's and I just wanted something that could run the games I played at 1080p and smoothly. I also didn't play shooters or anything twitchy at the time. 30fps was fine for everything I played then and for plenty of other people that wanted a upgrade from what they had.

Games on X1 nowhere near running on low. In all comparisons I've seen X1 is at max or near max settings.Sad this needs to be explained, but the graphic settings on xbox1x are not "highest settings" while the PC benchmarks posted are "highest settings" the games are still being played on low to medium settings on xbox1x just at 4k resolution now. I have no idea why people here keep comparing a resolution (4k) to high/ultra settings (better looking graphics).
you know damn well there is a way to compare. If you change the PC settings to what the xbox1x graphic settings are, the PC benchmarks would kill the xbox1x by a large margin.

I think it doesn't make sense to you because you're basing the "standard" on the most accessible price point for a graphics card and not the actual performance of a PC.
The "actual performance of a PC" is always dictated by price. If price was no issue we would all be playing at 10k right now. The technology is there.
