1080p30fps was never an entry baseline fam. Anybody who builds PC's is going for something that will push 60+fps at whatever desired resolution they want. Who actually wants to build a 30fps machine?
I didn't build pc's and I just wanted something that could run the games I played at 1080p and smoothly. I also didn't play shooters or anything twitchy at the time. 30fps was fine for everything I played then and for plenty of other people that wanted a upgrade from what they had.

My Xbox One X is leaps and bounds ahead of my high end gaming PC I built 6 years ago. I was watching Assassin's Creed Origins with my wife and both of our jaws dropped to the floor.

It's not misleading, you already said the differences can be visually negligible. We are talking about the overall experience, not the specs.

I barely EVER seen u in the PC threads when yall nikkas was arguing over Xbox 360/PS3 wit they fukked up framerates and resolutions while we was comparing cards and running games at 1080p 60fps n shyt. Building PC’s and giving eachother advice on troubleshooting and performance n all kinda shyt. U mentioned DF but while DF is a good site for benchmarks. They prey and play on the naivety, ignorance and sometimes flat out stupidity of alotta console gamers. Sad this needs to be explained, but the graphic settings on xbox1x are not "highest settings" while the PC benchmarks posted are "highest settings" the games are still being played on low to medium settings on xbox1x just at 4k resolution now. I have no idea why people here keep comparing a resolution (4k) to high/ultra settings (better looking graphics).

As I said, no way to compare exactly. Quality settings on consoles are custom. In practice the quality settings are very similar to the eye. You take a pc game and compare "high" to "ultra" or whatever they chose to call it, the differences are hard to spot without zooming in and/or watching a digital foundry video.

Right now entry into "high end gaming" is 4k 30frames
who are you to tell PC gamers what is the standard for PC gaming? Majority of PC gamers could care less about 4k gaming.
