Exactly what changed for the pacers? It's a good signing he's am ideal center for the current style of play but it looked like they didn't want him and didn't want to pay him lol.
The Pacers have the ability to reach a renegotiation-and-extension with Turner due to currently having roughly $25 million in salary cap space. The Pacers can offer Turner up to $19.1 million more this year on top of his $18 million salary to get him to his individual max of $37.1 million for the 2022-23 season alone, and then drop his salary in the following seasons of a potential new contract.

I think they might have wanted multiple but yeah he's been in trade rumors for over a year maybe 2 years now and it seemed like they didn't want to extend him lol.
I'm assuming the fact that they're still in the playoff race. Now if they sucked, they would've cleaned house.

True but I think with Haliburton if your roster is somewhat decent the team will be decent as long as he actually plays point guard full time.

Good now I don't have to hear about the Lakers trading for him anymore
It never made sense why they were looking to move him anyways considering how impactful similar bigs like Lopez and JJJ have been for their current teams.
Good for him. Dude been in trade talks damn near his entire career.
They liked what they saw out of this current group when Haliburton was healthy.
That Kings/Pacers trade was one of the rare immediate win/wins for both sides.
