They don't and they all are liars and can go to hell. Smh. If they don't make an average of $7.25 an hour after tips they get paid that on their checks. Plus they dodge taxes not claiming all their tips. They don't do shyt anyway. It's not a real job they need to get over themselves.

I understand where she's coming from, but all this running to social media to tattletale on people...wtf!?!?!? She'll HAVE to get over it. I've worked in the fast food industry. I know what it is to slave away for measly tips while getting stiffed every now and then (from the most well off people too!!). But, at the end of the day, a tip should NOT be expected even if its warranted. Just keep it moving.

waiters only make $2.50 an hour. That alone should make you tip.
what logic. because i'm the reason they make that? i'd love to fund every homeless person as well, but hey, you do what's within your means.

businesses must love that they don't have to pay their waiters more, i pay for their food services, and then essentially pay their employees as well for them. go figure.

That alone should make people who work in this industry lobby to be paid fair wages. Restaurant owners should have protestors at their doors day and night. Legislation should be on the table. But for some reason the blame falls on the consumer....

No one should be working for tips as if they are some sort of dancing circus act. The very thought is degrading. Waiters should be paid fairly and it is the responsibility of the business owner to make sure it happens.

Yes, I tip quite well. But it is not because I want to or because I think it is deserved.

Yeah waiters should be paid fairly, but they dont.. You think working for tips is degrading? If you have children to feed or bills to pay and you will do what is necessary.

If they don't want to work for tips they can always work at mcdonalds and at least get minimum wage. same skill set.

'MURICA

Land in where GUESTS paying $100+ for a MEAL are looked as the VILLAINS when they don't SUBSIDIZE the WAGE of a WORKER of a RESTAURANT who can OPERATE in BELMAR, NJ. Somehow paying someone $2 AND CHANGE an HOUR IS NOT THE PROBLEM AT ALL IN 2015.
We've been trained/brainwashed to never hold big business accountable. We are one another's scapegoat.

Yes, it is degrading because the history of tipping in America is degrading. The whole point was to show off your wealth by throwing some change at the poor peasants. (I am exaggerating when I say throwing).

I'm not knocking anyone for doing what they must do. I am knocking the entitled attitude that comes with it. No one is obligated to pay your wages besides your employer.

So just say you don't tip because you lack disposable income.

So if working for tips is degrading, so is whatever white collar job you work at because An employee is a cost of doing business. If the employee doesn’t generate more income than they cost, that employee is going to get fired or the business is going to go broke. If you’re the employee, the outcome is the same. Businesses exist to maximize the owner’s equity.

Degrading isn't it?
