Breh I'll concede GTA 4 being subpar. Didn't care for it either.
GTA 5 I enjoyed but that's neither here nor there.
Red Dead Redemption and Bully are classics, though. Without a doubt.
Everybody picks their favorite game and says that dev is the "best"

I'll say this though...People do tend to overate alot of rockstar's games and overlook their flaws.....Flaws that non rockstar games get crucified for.

They both get passes though. Rockstar games can be buggy as fukk, naughty dog games full of greedy DLC.
Both things other devs get crucified for.
Both great devs but overrated by their stans.

Not putting these two up for best developers, but shouts to Crystal Dynamics and Visceral Games.
- Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider games since 2005 have been fresh as hell. Rise of the Tomb Raider looking dope.
- Visceral Games doesn't have many hits, but Dead Space 1 and ESPECIALLY Dead Space 2 is great. That new Star Wars adventure game they making with Amy Hennig (UC2 writer) is gonna crush buildings.

You might be right. 2002 includes almost all of their GameCube games also. Other than sports games, Nintendo and R* games have probably gotten the most play time personally
