— Some kind of scent module that keeps you alert but without you having to activate it. The scents have to natural/organic with no particulates and the actual smell isn’t over the top like fresh brewed coffee unless you want it to be.

also some sort of battery life indicator like a phone.
I went to a drive in the other day, and parking with your radio on for 2 or 3 hours drains the battery pretty good, i would start up the car every now and then to make sure it didn't die.

One of the most common multi-car accidents is where one car rear ends another. For around 20 years we've had proximity sensors/radar in bumpers. Most of the time these are used alert a driver of nearby objects or for adaptative cruise control. I can't understand why these haven't been tied-in to the accelerator pedal to prevent collisions. Some cars will activate an emergency braking function, however my idea is that the closer a vehicle is to an object, the more resistance a driver would get in the accelerator pedal. Closing distance with an object should be similar to closing 2 magnets of the same pole. This distance/resistance level should be speed dependent as well.

I know just pulling into my garage, my car beeps like crazy, but it still allows me to accelerate relatively quickly. However if it was programmed correctly, it would only allow me to approach any objects a gentle rate to prevent any major damage should I continue to proceed. Fortunately this is something that can be implemented with a software update in some cars.
