Man I got a Chevy Malibu (2016) and that hoe does that when I stop sometimes and it cut the whole car off. Never understood it. How much gas do you actually “save” by doing this?

Newer Audis and I'm sure other cars show an overhead display of your car in a parking space. Doesn't Mercedes have the speedometer other displays on the windshield?
