I always say that about Kobe when compared to some of the other greats or even great wings from his career. His athleticism/natural ability was a full notch below MJ, LeBron, T-Mac and Vince. He absolutely maxed out his talents and overachieved.

By that measure, we could say Larry Bird overachieved too.

Kawhi Leonard...number 15 pick in 2011...by far and away the best player in that draft...i don't care what you think you know about basketball their is no way you could have watched this dude play in college and think he ever could have turned into a player who could go toe to toe with lebron... players like wiggins and winslow...hell any 6 "7" perimeter player who is good at defense, should be paying kawhi royalties because now a team might draft you to be their franchise guy where before they would draft you to play defense and shoot corner 3's...and pay you like you only play defense and shoot corner 3's instead of getting that franchise contract
