That's cause some folks don't be safety oriented, It's nothing to just wear a respirator, companies even make hoods with oxygen systems built in and they don't even cost a lot. I've seen folks welding on videos without proper equipment all the time like in flip flops so just like any other job, how often have you seen roofers doing work without a harness on, or people doing construction but not wearing a hardhat

Folks be taking unnecessary risks and get caught up on the back end all the time.
