Nas is better off messin' with Alchemist.

Large Pro and Nas is something that should've happened back in the late 90's.

I haven't heard a beat by Primo that impressed me in a while. The thing about him, is that he never prioritizes artists that challenge him. He has laced whole albums or multiple songs off albums of garbage MCs. Lot of yes man shyt probably happening in that studio most likely. We all know he could update his sound, but he's stuck in a neverending Moment of Truth loop.

nikkas be sleeping on Large Pro. He still has dope beats, and I bet he has a lot of real crazy shyt stored for Nas. I agree with a lot of people in here, Premo is a top 3 producer of all time but he fell off. He makes a couple nice beats here or there, but overall his shyt lacks the energy that it once had. Statik and Confidence are doing that type of chopped sample/scratch beats a lot better than Premo right now. That being said as a hip hop fan I need another Premo/Nas collab, but overall I'd just prefer to see Nas work with other guys.

Large Pro, Statik, Alchemist, T-Minus, Kanye...there's a lot of dudes I'd love to see Nas chill with. Also if I could get a 1 minute meeting with Nas I'd give him Marcberg and Reloaded, just in case he hasn't heard Roc Marciano. Marciano makes some crazy dusty beats that I'd love to hear Nas spit over.

I think that all these producers you all mention are still sending beats to Nas. Maybe he is just not impressed with them or they were selected for the album. Statik mention that he had 2 tracks on Life is Good but they ultimately didn't make the album.

You could find many of these producers on Nas' next (LOL) Lost Tapes project.

Pete Rock
Statik
Preme

All of these have unreleased tracks with Nas that are stuck in the vaults.

I was listening to CurrenSy's Covert Coup, and imagined if Nas spitted on The Type, Scottie Pippen, Blood Sweat and Gears, Full Metal...:ohlawd:

I supposed Green Lantern and Nas have more in the vault too since Green was the DJ on his tour at one point.
