Nas is my favorite rapper. I'm not saying he uses ghost writers in the traditional sense. Just that it's very clear this particular track was a Jay Elec track Nas decided to record.

I was never that familiar with Jay's work to even recognize any similarities in rhyme style at the time. Is it possible that Nas used him as a writer? Yes, It's possible. I hope it's not. It's easy for Jay to have told Nas how to approach the flow to the beat since it's so unorthodox. That guy said that he recorded those songs in 06 and stopped rapping after that. but jay electronica recorded and released those songs in 2004, he was even in the source unsigned hype for those songs that the guy mentioned.
