I'ma go back to all the other threads and see how many of you lames argue about the same shyt over and over.
I take 7 emcees put in line now add 7 more brothers who think they can rhyme or will it take 7 more for i go for mine now that's 21 emcees ate up at the same time -Rakim "my melody"also in Jay Elec's Uzi weighs a ton he says
Bring seven emcees, put them in a line
and Queens Get the Money has
Take 27 emcee's put them in a line and they're out of alignment
Yea. There's too much evidence. Why would Jay Elec tell someone he ghostwrote for Nas? He's always been highly respectful of OGs, I see no reason for him to lie.Are you sure you're a Nas stan?
i never said nasFor who? Where's Nas new record at?
Thats one of the most blatantly ghostwritten songs in rap that Heads know about.
FixedDon't see no harm in putting it on your Jay Elect playlist, since he "PRODUCED" it....
Y'all really don't know how rap works do y'all? Lol
Not saying I know if Jay Elec wrote the song, but some of y'all favorite rappers and legends have had songs ghostwritten for them. It's a very common practice. Rappers are touring, doing business ventures, and have writer's block at times. Labels get nikkas to write songs for rappers. It happens. Stop thinking these nikkas are superheros. Y'all too grown for this.

People in the industry don't label someone as a "LIAR or EXAGERATOR" for no reason but if you choose to believe a lie instead of the truth then good for you my man.Yea. There's too much evidence. Jay Elec has a Nas tribute song, which he played for Nas when they first met. I think he played him Queens Get The Money too at some point, and either asked Nas to take it or Nas asked. The off beat rhyming, tone, and subject matter sounds like Nas reading someone else's raps. I'm sorry.
There it is right there. Nas has used ghostwriters. Immature rap fans gonna damage control this even though they don't have to. There is nothing wrong with having people write for you under YOUR direction. Nas is still the GOAT regardless of how many songs may or may have not been written for him.they were probably in the damn studio together

Update: Stic.man commented on his work with Nas via Facebook, “As far as the rumors about myself and jay electronika ghost writing for Nas, let me say this. Nas is one of the if not the most prolific original lyricist to EVER do it. My contributions to his album was a collaboration and an honor and under his direction of what he wanted to convey and say. Haters cant discredit that man’s genuis. Nas is the Don.”
He later elaborated, saying he was “just a white belt that answered the call for a session with a master of the craft. And I assisted where it was requested with ideas, beats and some writing.” So, maybe some smoke, but not the type of fire these rumors suggested.
I don't play my card as often as you but having worked in the industry I'll disagree.People in the industry don't label someone as a "LIAR or EXAGERATOR" for no reason but if you choose to believe a lie instead of the truth then good for you my man.
I'm laughing at these so called hip hop heads and Nas fans that can't even recognize a Nas reference from his earlier catalog. But they are so quick to accuse the man of having a ghost writer.
