I love the album. It's beyond dope to me. Zero skips. Some of the negative reaction to the production is why Nas never included tracks like "Talk of NY", Good Morning, or "Serious" on albums.

Ironically, fans who are obsessed with the "Lost Tapes" concept or Nas' unreleased catalogue would be fuming if anything off this album was left off and considered "unreleased". These same songs would all of a sudden be appreciated way more. It's an unfortunate reality for Nas. Comes with being the GOAT, I guess.

And to that clown Jay Z stan who keeps posting (I have him on ignore but see others replying to him), I know it hurts you that Jay ended his career with a mediocre ass album where the flow was so trash that many thought it was a spoken word album. That L still burns slow.

100% agreed that it's zero skips.

I'm going to spend some time trying to figure out why people dislike these beats, because I do not get that at all. They're all great.

Some of this I put more on Nas. Should have made Primo give him some upbeat stuff like "Represent", "Nas is Like". Overall its cool but I wanted more stuff with like Ny pt. 3. With a unorthodox samples.

Same for me, bro.

Pulled up to the barbershop earlier, and they had "Git Ready" on when I walked in. All the brehs at the shop were loving the album. That was the talk pretty much the whole time I was in the chair. There's not one joint on the project that I don’t f*ck with.

Pause tapes the worst beat I heard all year
I like it because it reminds me of local rappers in the late 80s and early 90s rapping on cassette tapes and handing 'em out on the streets, that's the vibe I believe he was going for, a raw yet amateur sound to resonate with the title:yeshrug:.

Respectfully, I don’t think it's healthy to spend time trying to figure out why people are dumb.

I would say, if you love the album like a lot of us do...just enjoy it. Don’t focus on the weirdos. That just gives them more encouragement to keep talking.

I have spun this 3 times today and I love it. I'm not even a big Nas or Premier fan but this just hits to me.

Nas went crazy on the mic here, that's not debatable. But I read people shytting on this production and I just can't comprehend it. I like these beats way better than most of what I've heard from Premier in recent decades. It doesn't feel formulaic like his stuff often does, with a range of different sounds and approaches. I dunno.

Anyway, back to it, this is going to be getting a lot of burn from me
