shut your cry baby ass up fakkit :mjlol:
.....here's the whole verse your bytch ass is jacking off to. Once again. What's so special about this?:dead:.......basic ass bars and a choppy old man flow. Nas rhymed entry, quickly, shyt G, and tells me:deadrose:......there's absolutely NOTHING elite about these bars. Nothing. No wonder you failed at rapping:hhh:

If I could set a posse cut off, that be my entry
Pickin' up the stereo's remote control, quickly
Ron G's in the cassette deck, rockin' the shyt, G
Surprised I opened a bombshell and my mind tells me
I could hook a beat up for myself to rhyme
My mom's hall closet, in boxes, all kinda shyt
Johnnie Taylor records and some good Grover Washingtons, I'm lockin' in
Grab a piece of vinyl, drop the needle at the top
Listen for a beat to rock, ninety minute tape, I got enough time

Play it one time, four bars
Press record, then press pause, then restart
Record, loop, repeat
Do that 'bout twenty times, yo, I made my first beat
Pause tapes

He's explaining the process of making a beat back in the day through pausing the tape over and over. He doesn't need to be complex or overly technical when talking about something that certain listeners aren't even aware of.

You know why Eminem was so good back in the day? Because he could be lyrical and simple enough to understand. "Cleanin' Out My Closet" isn't a lyrically complex song, and it doesn't have the most elite "bars," but you feel Eminem's pain and anger. He's painting a picture that anybody can follow.

And Hailie's getting so big now, you should see her, she's beautiful
But you'll never see her, she won't even be at your funeral!

Your GOAT already said the simplest shyt is the most pivotal and fukk double entendres, he wants you to feel this. Why is Nas getting flak for following that mindset?

Bacause.. yall running with just thoughts on stuff you can easily look up. Everything a microwave response.. I'd be happy to
I’m not sure why you’re including me with y’all. I’m just stating my opinion. I should’ve specified that this is my opinion, not a fact. Beats sound like he used MPC stock sounds, and there’s nothing wrong with that, by the way. I like the album, but it looks like my post touched a nerve.

Nygga stop the passive aggressive shyt.. stop being a geek. I said I'd glady point you in the direction to save you from dumb ass takes. Its what real hip hop guys do.

U don’t gotta explain shyt to that bytch ass nikka. He said Nas ain’t top 5 no more at rapping and he mad cause I called him out about this album being more lyrical than GNX. lol.

O

Only problem with this argument is that you named the beats that people liked lol

I’ve not read this thread too much after the album is dropped. Only going off twitter & insta comments on HipHop pages.

It might be just be my time line but album isn’t really getting a good reception for the production side.
